Job Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Python Developer to lead the migration of our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions from UiPath to Python-based scripts. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to redesign and optimize automated processes, ensuring seamless integration and enhanced functionality. This role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication, and a passion for automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert existing UiPath bots (approximately 30) into Python scripts to replicate and enhance current automation outputs.
  • Collaborate with business process owners to assess and recommend improvements to automated processes.
  • Utilize Selenium for browser automation within Python to streamline web-based workflows.
  • Leverage Pandas for data processing and manipulation to support automation tasks.
  • Explore and implement RPA concepts for desktop applications, enabling efficient data extraction and integration outside of UiPath.
  • Integrate APIs to gather data from various sources, enhancing automation capabilities.
  • Work with GitLab for version control and collaborative development.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates, and facilitate the automation process.
  • Ensure robust documentation and knowledge transfer to support internal teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong portfolio of automation or scripting projects.
  • Expertise in Python libraries, including Selenium for browser automation and Pandas for data manipulation.
  • Experience with API integration to collect and process data from diverse sources.
  • Utilize SQL for database interactions to support automation tasks and data management.
  • Proficiency in GitLab or similar version control systems (preferred).
