Title: Manager - Finance Hybred

Primary Purpose of Position:

Lead the Finance team with financial reporting and projections responsibilities so the executive team can make the best financial decisions for the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Manage month-end closing process.

 Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements. Provide the monthly reporting package of financial

statements and notes to the Executive Team.

 Prepare, review, and distribute monthly graphs and charts.

 Prepare, review, and distribute daily reports.

 Manage the sales tax analysis and reporting process, coordinating with Vertex.

 Review and analyze monthly and year-to-date financial statement account activity for reasonableness

and completeness, re-classing entries as need, prior to issuing financial statements.

 Update and maintain cash forecasting process.

 Prepare, code, document, and post various monthly journal entries.

 Reconcile various general ledger accounts

 Supervises and provides back up support for the Banking and General Ledger accountant.

 Prepare and file census reports as needed.

 Provide data to executives for the analysis of products revenues and costs for periodic pricing reviews.

 Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses as needed.

 Work with other departments and outside vendors to ensure timely, professional resolution to inquiries

and issues.

 Holds administrator roles for bank accounts.

 Works with IT to ensure accuracy of reports used for reporting purposes.

 Enter and post various items into the Accounts Payable Module.

 Initiate various vendor payments via Bank of America and Royal Bank of Canada.

Knowledge and Skill:

Degree in Accounting or Finance

Proficient in Excel

Knowledge of GAAP and Accounting Software

3+ Years of Public Accounting and CPA license preferred

Previous Management experience
