The Work: The Data Scientist will focus on data visualization and analytics to enhance cybersecurity initiatives. This role involves performing in-depth data analysis, developing analytical models, and creating interactive dashboards and reports. By leveraging advanced analytics and visualization techniques, the Data Scientist will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making and improving cybersecurity outcomes for the Federal program. Key Responsibilities: Perform in-depth data analysis to derive actionable insights, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. Develop and maintain analytical models to support data-driven decision-making. Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in DataBricks. Create compelling data visualizations that effectively communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders. Continuously improve BI solutions to enhance user experience and meet evolving business needs. Explore data to identify potential insights and metrics, and determine how data should be structured. Work iteratively between front-end and back-end to structure data for visualizations. Partner with Data Engineers to define data requirements and facilitate downstream development. Here is What You Need: Desire to experiment with new DataBricks features (BI Genie, Agentic AI, etc.). Willingness to conduct independent research when encountering challenges; ability to Google or reach out to teammates for solutions. Ability to work independently when needed; capable of exploring client problems with minimal prompting. Experience with data science and analytics. Proficiency in Python (pandas, PySpark) and SQL. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or preferably DataBricks native dashboarding tool. Ability to demo products built to clients and tell a compelling story. Understanding of analytical model development and data-driven decision-making. Excellent collaboration skills in a fast-paced team environment. Nice to Have: Experience in the Cybersecurity domain. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
