Business Development Representative

Location: West Side of Cleveland, OH

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Founded in 2021, the company has rapidly expanded—doubling in size within the last year. They specialize in serving clients across healthcare-related sectors and are continuing to grow their footprint in hospitals, nursing homes, physician offices, and acute care facilities.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) with a strong hunter mentality to drive new business in healthcare-related facilities. While this role involves a mix of cold calling and warm leads, much of the groundwork has already been established. The BDR will focus on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and passing qualified contacts to Advisors to close. This position offers a clear growth path into Junior Advisor and then Client Advisor , with pay increases at each stage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities across hospitals, nursing homes, doctor offices, and acute care facilities.
  • Conduct outreach via cold calling, site visits, and networking, while also leveraging existing contacts and leads.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers in target accounts.
  • Qualify prospects and hand off leads to Advisors for closing.
  • Maintain accurate records in the proprietary CRM (training provided).
  • Attend virtual Google Meet introductions, followed by in-person client meetings.
  • Shadow senior staff during the initial 2-week onboarding and training program.
  • Meet or exceed monthly business development targets.

Qualifications

  • 1–3+ years of proven success in sales, business development, or a client-facing role.
  • A driven, competitive, and gritty “hunter” mentality — healthcare experience not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to self-manage daily schedule and territory travel.
  • Willingness to undergo drug and background checks.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $50,000 – $65,000
  • Commission: ~$25,000 annually (average)
  • Additional: Monthly tiered bonuses + annual company bonus
