Accountant III – Temporary Location: Boston, MA Reports To: Corporate Controller About the Role : We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant III for a temporary project expected to last 3–4 months, with potential for future opportunities. This role will support audit preparation, general accounting, and various financial tasks. Key Responsibilities : Audit Support Interpret audit requests with minimal guidance. Retrieve supporting documentation from various online platforms (e.g., payroll records, vendor/customer invoices, bank statements, etc). Prepare basic balance sheet reconciliations (e.g., other assets, prepaids, accrued expenses). Prepare the annual royalties worksheet; support and guidance will be provided as needed. General Accounting: Support accounts receivable collections, including invoice preparation and follow-up. Perform bank reconciliations. Assist with payroll processing. Prepare and post journal entries on NetSuite with proper documentation. Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations. Perform ad hoc reconciliations and financial tasks as needed. Other Duties Support various finance and accounting projects as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting required. Minimum 4-5 years of accounting/finance experience (experience in public accounting is a plus). Proficiency in navigating online financial platforms to retrieve and organize records. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Effective time management and multitasking skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting systems preferred. Ability to work onsite in Boston, MA most of the time.
